CC, Cherron Covington Newby, CEO of CC’s Consulting & Training, moved to Florida from Georgia in June of 1998.  Born and raised in Washington, D.C., she started a construction final cleaning business in 1994, No Ordinary Kleaning.  She hired the homeless and ex-offenders,  providing transportation and a meal to them when working.  CC received her OSHA training at University of Southern Florida and Military Public Safety & Security training at Florida State College of Jacksonville.  In 2011 she was appointed to the Faith Base Community Base Advisory Council by Governor Rick Scott and in 2013 he appointed her to the Council on Homelessness. 

                                                           

Prior to starting her businesses, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for a former Congressman, worked at the Pentagon and with the Department of Defense.  She also volunteers and does fundraising for various organizations.  Mother of three daughters, two of whom are veterans, three grandsons and one granddaughter, she has employed as many as 45 homeless individuals.  To contact her, please email her at  cctrain-consult@live.com.
